This is a longshot, but I really want to grow blueberries, but I have limited space and one of the only places out-of-the-way enough to plant something that has a 50/50 chance of making it is beneath a large white pine and a blue spruce. It is almost total shade, so that's the first set-back. The soil should be acid enough as it's also surrounded by oaks. Is this too much of a longshot or is there a chance I could get them to grow in such a location and expect to see ANY fruit?
