LOL! Good one Renee! I did a post a few yrs back of something like "Show us your Crispy Critters!" We posted pics of our fried blooms. Sometimes they can be interesting.

Renee,your fall flush looks like my fall flush! I had to smile when I saw that first picture; I could really identify. I had a few stalwart roses that held up fairly well and I hope you did too. Before long we'll have cooler weather and a REAL fall flush.

WOW Renee that looks like all my blooms during this summer. Mine would fry by 2 oclock. Pityfull looking for sure. By late May we were in the high 90's with noooo rain and never looked back til now. Sooooooo hot and I didn't like it one bit. Thanks for the chuckle!! Can't wait to see your cool fall flush! Judy

We had some triple digit heat this summer also. It fried my flowers, toasted my corn, and roasted my tomatoes. I know what you are going through. My air conditioning bill was not nice. It is cooler here now. I hope your temperatures return to civility soon.

Looks familiar to me ;-)! I am looking so much forward to the REAL FALL FLUSH in my garden and on photos of other people's gardens here on GardenWeb. Can't wait to see pictures of your autumn roses, Renee!

I have to say though that a few roses in my yard took the heat spell surprisingly well and are churning out nice blooms just one day after the heat wave is over. As a matter of fact it is raining right now and with an occasional lightening and thunder!
