Small Sugar sounds like another good one "Small, culinary and ornamental. Vigorous vines bear 5- to 8-pound, orange fruit. Does well trellised. Also known as New England Pie."

I grew small sugar pie last year. They didn't take up too much space (4 sqft) and I trellised them.

Here's a pic of the plant in the planter: it's on the end.

This pumpkin decided it would grow near the bottom of the plant, so I stuck it on an upside down 6" pot.

They are BEAUTIFUL plants! My zucchini did not want to trellis, but pumpkins took to the trellis with great ease, I thought.
