I failed MISERABLY with brussles....I think it was more grower error because I've seen others do it well.

I will be planting Brussel Sprouts this spring. I will let you know in about.....8 mo.

Okra works really good, at one per sqft.

I had brussels sprouts last year. They got really really tall, to the point or requiring staking...then they got eaten up and I didn't do anything about it until it was too late. Cabbage worms ate the leaves, and I didn't think they would bother the sprouts, but when I went to harvest them after the first frost, they had eaten through those as well.

This year I'll try some BT for them to see if that controls it. If not, I'll pretty much give up on cole crops.

We did okra last year for the first time - 'Baby Bubba' and a VERY productive 'Cajun Delight'. Will do 'Cajun' again this year.
