I just found this site this morning and really like all the info I get that is specific to the Phoenix/Chandler AZ area.

Regardless of the tree questions that I ask, many of the respones in past posts I see a repeated dissatisfaction with Moon Valley as tree suppliers. Why is this? After visiting Moon Valley, Whitfills,& others; I thought that Moon Valley had the best tree selection and expertise.

What am I missing? I am redoing my backyard and will be buying and planting 14-18 new large trees. This will be a large investment. Since I plan on spending 5k-10k on trees and plants on my yard I would like make sure that I will not be unhappy with any aspect of the process; as well as the trees and plants performing as expected.

Please let me know of any and all concerns regarding doing business with Moon Valley. Thank you all in advance for your help and advice.

I live in Phoenix & I haven't ever had any probs with them. Granted, I have not bought anything big from them though. The one in MoonValley (on 7th Street in Phoenix) is one I used to go to alot, they had two there (same family, but seperate owners). One had a great pond area! Is Summerwinds still around? I know they had a shop near Arrowhead, and a few other locations, I liked them too.
