Peas and beans are a good choice--fast to sprout and to grow. Tomatoes would be good too, or try a marigold. Whatever you pick will have to be taken out of the bottle after a few weeks if you want it to live. The bottle will get too hot in direct light and the plant won't get enough light inside to live out the season. It's a classic, fun project. Good luck
