bump

Its been a while since I posted but there are some changes,I now have 3 green anoles no Gecko and a native green tree frog. My terrarium also looks different, and to me, better as far as not being quite so cluttered.

Austin- make sure you post those new pictures...I would love to see them. Jocelyn

I don't know any anole that wouldn't be happy there.

Maybe some kind of sturdy plant that would support the weight of something sitting on it? I think peperomia is common in terrariums. I don't have one but that's what I've heard. Very broad leaf and sturdy, likes muggy and moist.

Hey jimabf, I love your Chinese bowl terrarium! Very cool. I've been thinking a lot about making something similar for about a year now, only bigger. How big is your bowl? It looks like a decent size. And where did you get the container?
BTW, peperomias like to dry out between waterings, so are not good choices for an anole terrarium. At least not the one you pictured. Some others tolerate being constantly damp better.

Not mine. The link I posted was to someone's sight. Got carried away with the Ctrl+V paste option. The peperomia thing is unfortunate for the anoles. It seems like it would be comfortable...for an anole.

Hey guys Im sorry I didn't respond for like 6 months and haven't been online for anything but research projects so I haven't been on GardenWeb in awhile but some things have changed like my terrarium for instance and I will eventually get new pics up. Thanks for sharing info and pics!!!
