Non-Toxic Paint or Dye

Hello everyone,

I'm building my first fully landscaped paladarium. I finished carving a waterfall and cliff out of foam. Now I need something to color it with to make it look more natural. Does anyone know of anything that isn't toxic.

I plan to have frogs and salamanders and possibly ghost shrimp in the tank..

Hi
I've used acrylic paints for many years both above and below waterline as well as in Marine tanks. Have never had a toxic problem and the paint lasts for years.
A brand called "Patio Paint" comes in small bottles in many colors..You can get it at any of the "Box stores" or at craft stores.

And if you're still concerned, you could always give it a coating of a non-toxic sealant after you're done painting. I think Thompson's Water Seal is non-toxic.
