Just put out my 8 week old tomatoes, peppers and eggplant this weekend that I had started from seed indoors. However, I have yet to start any marigolds or nasturtiums - though I do have the seeds to do so. Question is, would it be more beneficial to buy marigolds from a nursery and transplant them or wait for them to sprout from seeds. My fear is that in the time it takes for the flowers to grow to a sufficient size, pests will have allready done damage to my tomatoes, etc.
