Yesterday I had my first smell of spring. I prepared a row in my vegetable garden & sowed some spinach & lettuce. I covered the row with plastic & can't wait to see some green in time for St. Patrick's Day! Today I started some tomatoe seeds. I'll keep them beside a sliding glass door & bring them out during the warm sunny part of the day. This is the beginning of what gardening is all about - working outside and growing plants. Enjoy!
