I have mine on a wagon that I roll outside on warm days (55+). And will be moving them to close to the garage windows so they can get a bit of light on days where it's too cool to be outside. It's time to start waking them up! I just give them a small amount of water until they start to leaf out. And I usually don't fertilize until they are fully leafed out.

About a month from now, I'll probably be putting some of them in the ground!

Well, I drug all of mine out of the basement this past Friday and gave them all a good watering and general cleaning off. They'll stay outside unless we are due to have a really cold snap. I'm watching this present cold front closely... They may come in tonight and probably stay there over the weekend.

By the middle of April I will start putting them in the ground where I can. I'll have blooms on the established plants by late May early June.

I got two at Bayless Nurseries here in Memphis. They
are both around two feet tall a and have Y'd. The second
is in bud and bloom.... and they were only 10.95 each!
They are variegated. I have one planted in a large pot and the other in the ground. I have been told they will come back from the ground here, and get 10 to 15 feet tall.
Last year was my first first attempt at growing one. I got
it at the same place. It was smaller and more expensive last year. it nice to know somethings actually go down in price and get even better. It bloomed during the Full Moon
and was fabulous.

Here's a picture of all the brugs I got as tiny cuttings at the Fall Swap at the river (thanks!!) They live in Florida at my Dad's now. Looks like they are at least a foot tall now, perhaps more. I don't have the heart to tell my dad's wife that she should have split them at the base and planted each one individually. I figure they will still be beautiful even if they are more like bushes, and I will still have them to get cuttings from when I have a place of my own again.
