Problem with 10 gallon tank and escaping crickets

I have a 10 gallon tank and just got 250 3 day old pinhead crickets that got put in it to feed my dart frog (the only place that sold pinhead crickets is going out of business November 20th and didn't reorder any for last saturday. The tank is a rectangular glass tank. My problem is that the tiny crickets are going up the sides at the corners and trying to climb up. How do I keep them from climbing up the sides and out of the tank? I'm getting one of those cricket keeper things (the bigger one) tomorrow morning but don't want them to get out of the tank tonight and tomorrow morning. I put aluminum foil over the top and put the lid back on the tank. They have egg crates to hide under, food, and water. Why are they doing this?
