LOL, I have no idea how to keep a slug alive. I'm interested to hear how to do so. If you get him a neat little home set up maybe you can take a pic and show us. The only experience I have with slugs is sprinkling salt on them in the backyard and watching them dissolve.

When i first read the title i thought slugs had somehow got into your terrarium lol. Since i live in the land of slugs I have a running battle with them but none have ever got into the terrariums.
A;ll my experience has been in how to eliminate them lol though I wouldn't think they would be hard to maintain in a small tank with a lot of fresh plant material.Probably need to keep them warm and humid conditions as they obviously can't dry out.
Banana slugs are sort of pretty but nothing compared to the beauty of marine types called nudibranchs. They are works of art!!

I used to keep them as a kid! So dont feel bad! LOL! I had a ten gallon woodland type set up, basically an inch or so of gravel, about five inches of soil, and a layer of leaves, I placed a piece of driftwood in there for them to hide under and KABLAM! There they lived! with just the same care you would give a woodland setup, I dont remeber how long they lived, but I remeber turning them loose after I lost interest......their slugs!? not much activity, and even when they are active they go at thier own pace.....vvvvvveeeerrrryyyyy sssslllloooowwwww! LOL! not to exciting! Hope that helps you at least a little! =)
