Do you have a false bottom tank? Please let me know as this would be one of the easier ways to go.

Yes...there will be a false bottom in the the tank. right now, it is empty and waititing for some plans.

The type of background you use will also tell you what type of waterfall to go for, if you use expanding foam you will get dramatic, natural looking results, you can find detailed directions on the www.blackjungle.com site, just go there and click on the four foot tank, you dont have to make your tank look like theirs, make it look the way you want it to, just stick to their system and youll be fine, I used their directions on all my tanks and the backgrounds and waterfalls look spectacular! I posted pics on the http://www.wildsky.net/vivarium/evivariu.htm site if you would like to see them, Im under A.Rosario, I listed two of my tanks, you might have to scroll down a bit but Im there! =) you will also find pics of other tanks that make my two look like a trash dump! LOL! Yea, there that good! Go take a peek and let me know if its something you might be interested in as I have a couple of different ways that you can set up a water fall, again depending on the background you decided to use. =) I will give you detail instructions when you decide =)

I've never found another way to create a waterfall beside the false bottom. If you make a stream or pond the water always manages to escape lolThe false botom gives you a much larger amount of water and it can't miss
Another way is to have water on the entire bottom. Of course you wouldn't want this with frogs unless of the aquatic types.
