I dont know much about orchids so I really cant help, There are many people on this site that deal with orchids but I havnt heard from most of them in some time, its become a dead site, its a shame too as there were many great members here at one time and they were/are very informative people, my guess is they are either to busy with their lives or just were temporarily interested in the hobby =( but fear not! If you look around on the other Gardenweb forums Im sure youll find one that deals with orchids and their lighting needs =) Good luck! =)

These guys sell alot to the DIY segment of the planted aquarium market. they are very good at getting alot of light out of a small footprint on a budget. I am very impressed by their reflectors. They do sell preassembled hoods but they mainly sell kits you put together yourself.
