Tomato plants are not doing well Help -pics

I started my first garden this year. I started with 16 different plants from a local garden store. When I put them in the ground two had a few yellow leaves at the bottom and a few bumps and discoloration on the stem close to the ground. After a week they do not look any better and some of the other plants started to get yellow leaves. I removed the two and took photos. Can any one offer any ideas? Thanks
