Around noon here today in Waynesboro when it really started looking eery, so the kids and I gathered up the dogs, and went into the basement where our storm shelter is. Thankfully other than some pounding rain, and high winds, we were tornado free here.

I hope everyone else is safe and sound.

I was up on a steep two-story roof when the lightning first hit. I can move faster than I realized! :-)

No damage at our house and all the family is fine. The 'boro got hammered though!

West Point was actually mentioned on TV! So much for the notion that any publicity is good publicity.

West Point is such a small place, we don't have a traffic light or a store. We NEVER get mentioned, even on local radio, so whe I heard "tornado is approaching West Point" is nearly freaked! Fortunately all we got was some serious rain, and two rounds of hail. No damage, thank goodness!

We are good over here in Bulls Gap. Had some heavy rain and some lightning. Nothing major.

I was on the road yesterday, so I just saw pics of Murfreesboro for the first time this morning. Yikes!

Fine here. All we got was bad winds, and heavy rain. Some bad thunder too. No tornadoes thank goodness.

Just a line of t'storms here, nothing like the 'boro.

Columbia just got t storms, I work in Spring Hill and it was much the same. Poor Boro, they got the brunt of the storms.

Some large hail in LaVergne where I was working at the time & several people I know have house damage, but the good thing is, everyone's ok. =)
