Weve got two here, one pink and one red. This late freeze we had this year was a little hard on them both. The pink had a little die-back at the ends of the branches but is going strong now. The red that we have looked as though it had died all together but is now growing from the base again by leaps and bounds. Both of these are on the west side of our house in unirrigated beds and have been here for 4 and 3 years now respectively with very little mulch and care.
