Ajuga in the lawn?

I have planted ajuga as a ground cover in a rather wet bed next to our driveway. I have had 2 people (at separate times) say that it will spread into our lawn. Now, while I could give a hoot about the grass, DH likes the look so grass it is. But, I want the ground cover to stay in the bed. I know any ground cover will want to spread but is this something that is rampant or will I be able to keep it in bounds with a string trimmer and an occasional pull up in the grass? Thanks, Linda
