they are KILLING my tomatoes!

Hello...I have been all over the net and haven't yet seen exactly what my problem is...thought i'd try a forum...

I have a small box garden w/ some bell peppers, cerranos, and 5 tomatoes. Everything has been growing great - big plants, healthy, lots of fruit, beautiful, except...almost every tomato i've picked has turned out to be FULL of teeny, tiny worms - almost like maggots, but even smaller!

They look beautiful on one side - you pick it and it's mushy, turn it over, and there are big holes, something has eaten all the way through into the core of the fruit.

There are little BLACK bugs, that I'm guessing are the 'adults' (?) - they are very small, beetle-like, with elongated trunks - usually 1 to 3 of them crawling in/out of the holes...

Then, when you cut the tomato open - itty bitty worms! eating the entire fruit from inside out!! >:(

um...i would post a picture, but the last one i picked this morning infuriated me so much i chunked it as far as i could across the fence :(

there are no other pests, i used ladybugs for the aphids, etc., no caterpillars or hornworms - just these little bugs that appear to be laying their babies in my tomatoes!

advice, please? before i lose them all :(
