I recommend this outfit to anyone in SoCal around the Irvine area. They have a very nice product that is cheaper than dirt (no pun intended.

They sell their compost (horsesh!t/wood shavings) extremely cheap, $1.84 for 2 cubic feet, but if you ask them to bag it heavy, they'll sell you 3 cubic feet.....for $1.84.

Their guy Matt really seems to know what he's talking about when it comes to soil/compost.
