I like cucumbers and making cucumber salad. Dice a couple of cucumbers, add a drained can of garbanzo beans (chick peas) and drained can of black olives. Throw in some shredded mozzarella cheese and dressing of your choice. VOILA! Nice alternative to a lettuce based salad.

For me it has to be tomato. Wait a minute I only went to kindergarten. Some of you grammer school folks probaly call it fruit.

Norm, I don't know about you, but I don't put fruit on my spaghetti.

I will be the odd duck and say summer squash. Fried or grilled I get my fill while I can. I eat it nearly every day it is in season if I can get to the table before the kids devour it. Yum!

Oooo....pan fried breaded butternut squash...mmmmm...I'm gonna have to go to Kroger right now and buy some! =) lol

Tomato is a FRUIT, not a vegetable! Therefore it does not count, the tomato is a "freebie"... so are cucumbers, squash, green beans even my favorite EGGPLANT, is a fruit!

So now that make you decision a LOT easier, doesn't it?-)

Watch out Sansquid, may have to put out a recall on your rain barrels. Now that sansquid puts fruit,
on his spaghetti, wonder where he picks his fruit, from a bush or a vine.

Would say "Tomato"! Best raw, but also canned, dried or even frozen.

I always heard it to be a fruit, and it does go on my spaghetti. What would spaghetti be without it?
