If you go down to the search box and type 'insecticidal soap' you'll get several results.

It's basically just a teaspoon to a tablespoon or so of mild dishwashing liquid or baby shampoo, etc. added to each gallon of water. Then shake up and spray all surfaces of the plants.

Don't do this when the sun is on your plants.

You'll need to do it more than once, mealy bugs can be difficult to get rid of.

A drop or two of dishsoap in a "good ol squirt bottle" like a "windex" or "fantastic" bottle does the trick. Works great on aphids too. Early or late in day is best.

Insecticidal soap is a commercial product available at any garden center.

I found that applying the soap solution with my hand and a rubber glove killed off the bugs faster, probably due to the squish factor.

Soap.... Can I use DOVE soap? Is it as long as any soap will do right? and Soap is organic? I use garlic mix with some organic vegetable&fruit washerand spray, seem like not working well.
And i find out, those bug make my plant 'curl" of the tips! whenever the bugs is, they the curl will be........

There's also a stage and type of ladybug larvae that looks very similar to this, so be sure it's destructive before you kill it.

Don't use Dove, it has too much junk in it. If you can find Ivory liquid soap, that's the best... otherwise I'd stick to the insecticidal soap they sell at the garden store. What you need is real soap, not the detergent they sell as "soap" in most things (like shampoo, dish detergent, etc.) Detergent won't help, as it doesn't have the potassium salts that really kill the insects.

Insecticidal soap is organic, so you don't have to worry about that. You will need to spray regularly, every few days. As suze said, they can be tough to get rid of.
