OK. When we moved in a couple of years ago, I bought two lilac bushes. Common Lilac. Same thing, from the same place.

Both are about four feet tall now. One of them puts off a ton of suckers. The other, none. What's up with this? Will they both do it eventually, or is this something that kind of varies depending on the personality of the bush? :)
