Apparently this is a hybrid celery. Here's the pic and info I got from googling it:

Not sure why you wouldn't want to try this one. I prefer non-hybrids on veggies so that I can save the seed, but if you're not doing that, then why not? It sounds like a great, very productive plant to me!

I was just concerned that no one had any pictures or anything to say about it. I kind of figured that it may not be a good cultivar...

It sounds like a perfect celery. I'd sure like to try growing a celery that isn't stringy, that's for sure.

If you don't mind, if you choose to grow this, please come back and update this thread to let us know what you liked/disliked about it. I do want to grow celery, I just haven't yet.

This will be the first celery I ever grow. I will definitely keep you posted on how it works out next season with lots of pictures too. Good or bad.
