It's an annual. Treat it like petunias and you'll do fine.

I have a hydrangea which is planted where it gets morning sun until around 3 PM. The leaves are turning brown and I have sprayed it with fungicide. No change. Could it be too much sun? I try to water it in the mornings and avoid getting the water on the leaves. Any suggestions?

Nancy the "too much sun" gig is probably the answer. Go filtered or partial. Wilting leaves are pretty much a given with this heat anyway, even in shade, but the browning is another story.

About that calibrachoa... one of the things they don't tell you on the sticktag for this plant is that it wants VERY acid soil and gets chlorotic without it. In a hanging basket you'll need to feed it often with Miracid (liquid concentrate you mix with water; widely available). For best results once a week is ideal, but at the minimum do it at least once every two weeks. The most common reason for decline with this plant is due to that acid soil requirement that people don't know about.

Agree with BOV on the hydrangea. It's getting a sunburn.
