I live in the Inland Empire where the temperatures have been in the mid 90s the past several weeks, and while my plants seem to be thriving, any new blossoms produced on the beefsteaks are pretty much shriveling up from the heat. I set the plants out in the ground in early April and have quite a few tomatoes starting to ripen--mostly cherry varieties.

My Black Plum, Yellow Pear, Angora Supersweet, and Baselbieter Roeteli are still setting tons of new fruit, while the Aunt Ginny's Purple and Andrew Raharts have stopped.
