Hello,

I am growing tomatoes and cucumbers in containers and today I noticed that all of my plants are covered in something I can't id. I think it may be a bug and my friend thinks it might be a type of seed. Unfortunatly I don't have a picture to post but I will try to describe it as best I can. The thing is about 1-2 mm in size, appears to have segments, does not move, is brown to reddish-purple in color and is shaped like a football. Any ideas??
