The yellowing/wilting did not appear to be closely associated - just some yellowed lower leaves like you might see on any plant after a hard rain

Maybe this is what happen to my tomatoes plants the other day after the hard rain of Cindy.

My Tomatoes Plants leafs turned yellow over night.

I wish I know about Lemon Boy to help you. I am overwhelmed to learn that there are so many different type of tomatoes. Maybe one day once I learn everything about growing tomatoes, I will ask you to send me some seeds.

There are very few diseases where foliage turns back and Late Blight ( P.infestans) is one of them.

Another is Gray Mold but with that one there isn't the wilting and dire prognosis.

Why don't you check out those two diseases in the Problem Solver #2 or online via Google and see if any match what you see.

Again, it's the dark dark you're calling it black foliage that concerns me.

If it's Gray Mold it's treatable, if Late Blight not.

Thanks for responding, Carolyn. I sure appreciate it. This is about the worst-looking thing I've seen on a tomato plant so far. It looks most like the late blight photos. There is even more wilt today. So I guess it should come out? Will other plants in the same bed fall too? I see nothing more serious than a little Early Blight on some of them, but not bad at all, although I did pull that Yellow Pear that looked so atrocious. That was a different set of symptoms though.
