BER, grumble grumble

OK. So all year I have been careful to keep my moisture levels consistant. I have plastic mulch down and I keep track of the rain on a gauge. I have soaker hoses under the plastic so I can irrigate as needed. So about 10 days ago, we got 3 inches of rain, unexpected, the day after I watered. So now that we are started to get ripe tomatoes, I have BER on just about all my varieties. What can I do in the future to keep this from being a problem?
