Hi,

This is my first almost ripe heirloom (a Rose tom). What's causing this?

All the plants I have (13 heirlooms) look very healthy. I haven't noticed any hornworms or other insects (other than bees and dragonflies). All the other tomatoes are still green and unblemished. The weather has been quite warm and humid but, in the past few days, temps have dropped to the 50s at night and 70s during the day.

BTW, what looks like a bite in one of the sides, wasn't there when the tom was still attached to the plant. One of my fingers went into that rotten side when I was picking it.
