It seems like it needs more water. I live in a place where we constantly get temperatures above 90ð so I usually water my plants in the morning with A LOT of water, but once in a while I don't have time to do it so when I come back it looks like your plant.

I used to live in CA, and I have a gardening friend who still lives there. Neither one of us had great results with tomatoes in pots there. Not sure why, but we never got the large crops when they were in a pot.

My mom (also in CA) who had an incredible "green thumb" grew huge tomatoes for most of the year. But she also had the same problem when she put them in pots.

But I agree with the previous poster in that they need lots of water when in pots. It is amazing how quickly they dry out when grown in that method.

OK, thanks. I continue more watering and am still getting new buds. I think I've count 6 so far. The two tomatoes that I do have are now red in color, but only about 2 inches in size. I'm hopeful, though.
