This late in the year you may get a few beans from the plant but I doubt it would do as well as if you planted them earlier.
Try a few. Couldn't hurt.

Any luck with the hyacinth beans?
I planted a few handfuls and nothing has come up.
I think it has just been too dry around here lately and there are very few things that I water constantly. ....and some I forget to water. ooooops.

junebugntn, I think you can still plant them to bloom and make seed pods. You know they love the heat, and once up at least a foot, they start growing like grazy. August,September are always hot and sometimes even into October until later in the month. But I too would save some seeds. Good Luck :)!
