Coreopsis are one my favorite flowers. I love all of them. I have a couple now but when we move, I want to have a bed just of Coreopsis.

Oh wow, it really is beautiful! I can see why you'd be attracted to it!

Dave's Garden folks report that it's not hardy. I would have never thought a coreopsis would be tender.

I looked over at Dave's Garden but I have other coreopsis that have come back that folks on DG say probably shouldn't! Maybe it's new in TN? They had it right next to several hardy plants at the store, almost seems deceptive...

I'll take cuttings for insurance purposes! If I don't need them I could always bring them to the plant swap!

Hey! I saw this at Lowe's just now, and I am IN LOVE with it! It is just exactly the colors I'm doing. Ooooo, I want it so bad!

They had it with the perennials there too, and if not for this thread I wouldn't have even checked the hardiness on the tag. Tag said 30-40 degrees. ?? What is up with this? I think you may be right, maybe it's just a new thing.

I'm hopeful that it will last but we'll see. Still it might be worth taking the risk it looks great!

That's what Kevin was saying too...why don't we just give it a shot and see what happens. :) I think I will! We'll have to compare notes next spring. :)
