It's too bad these pictures are blurry. arrrgh its the cheap camera. Oh well I checked today and thought it may be nice to have a new picture in here. This is some bamboo that was given to me by someone I had worked for. I am guessing it is aureosulcata but am not sure. There are not any zig zag culms yet. The yellow coloration has just appeared this past fall on the culms. It has been in the garden 2 seasons now. The original grove did not have the yellow on the culms either but it may be because it was dense and there is no light getting to those culms. Anyway I'd really like to keep this forum going and interesting. So here it is Michigan bamboo! Guess that's ok for starters.
