I'm in south Louisiana planted the tubers 3 weeks ago, no sign of life yet. Any idea when they might break dormancy ?

Did they come up yet? I have pink ones and they took a long, long time to come up the first year. Since then they don't come back up until early June. I thought they were only supposed to get a couple of feet tall. These get about twice that high.
