Norm's right, and you can also load up on bags of it people have raked and left at the curb. Just look for houses with lots of pine trees and watch for dozens of bags of lawn waste on or near trash pickup days.

If you're determined to spend your cash, I've seen bales of it for sale at Dan West and also at Quality Landscape in Olive Branch, MS.

HD usually has it too but I'm with Norm on this one. Don't be bashful! Go knock on folks doors. Most will be happy to have you rake, bag and take away their pine needles. Go to Chickasaw Garden and Germantown. They probably hire someone to do it for them.

I plan on raking some up on the common ground in my housing development and storing it in plastic trash bags until it is needed when the cold weather sets in. Lets all hope for a mild winter a Zone 8 one would be great.

you can come to my house and have all you like we have 4 acres of this stuff and its getting on my last nerves!!!! cant enjoy the summer for raking the yard!
