wanting to try a yellow tomato this year. Maybe both a cherry and a large fruited variety...

• SunGold or SunSugar hybrids, for the small one (similar in taste -- SG has a fruitier flavor IMHO, but it has a greater tendency to crack)
• Dr Wyche'sYellow or Kellogg'sBreakfast OP's, for the large one

From my experience, the color of the ripes of the above 4 is more light-gold or light-orange than yellow.

Lemon Boy is a fantastic bright yellow tomato, with a lot of nice qualities.

Al, If you 're an experiminter you might like to try a yellow currant for your small tomato. They're not really a tomato though they look and taste like one. Take the heat and bare till frost. I think TOTALLY TOMATOES has the seeds.

I like Lemon Boy too. Very prolific, with a mild taste.

I've always considered Kellogs Breakfast as an orange, not
a yellow.

I have grown Kellogs Breakfast for 3 years, and I never get much production, and the flavor is a 3 out of 10. This is my last year for it.

I like Amana Orange for a delicious large tomato.

I dont mess with cherry tomatoes anymore.....they tend to too easily cross pollinate, which messes up my seed saving.

I have grown both Amana Orange and Kelloggs Breakfast and thought them to be both excellent orange tomatos. But I am looking for yellow tomatos.

We really love the Lemon Boy...It makes a beautiful sauce with shellfish over angel hair, our favorite!

Another vote here for Lemon Boy. We also like Golden Jubilee, but it's not as bright and clear a yellow as Lemon Boy. We haven't grown either in a couple of years because we're in the "experimental" phase of our gardening (ya never know when you're going to find a new "can't-live-without"!), but we will be coming back to them at some point.

I have always done well with the Golden Jubilee here in zone7 Tn. Good size and rich flavor.
