I have an Australian Tree Fern, bought it 8 years ago from Wyevale in Hereford. It was then without any fern and appeared to be dead; but, hey presto when we planted it it came to life !

It's had an interesting life so far, been moved 4 times now living ( or dead) in Plymouth Devon.

The ferns die back in early winter and fall off, then when things warm up in the spring the ferns grow back. This has been the regular pattern. It was moved to Plymouth in 2007 and again survived the move, it was fine in spring 2008 and 2009. This spring however nothing happened, the fern appears to have died.

Any advice ? Is it possible that it's having a year off ?
