Joe, we had 'em last year but the way the blooms died was a turn-off for me. They last longer than the regular ones but by the time the third bloom was open, the first one looked like crap. We had the purple one and a yellow double. I was less than impressed. Neither of them re-seeded so that was all I needed. The white singles smell better and all I have to do in the Spring is pull up the ones I don't want. Just my worthless opinion.

The pic does look great though. I like the little "Million dollar" thingys too. Thanks for those! I bet we've got a dozen different plants from those now.

BTW.....c'mon you guys can get away for one freakin' Saturday! Please come to the Swap!!! It just wouldn't seem right if there was one less person to bust me up and crack on me. And who will take all those unflattering (as if there were any other kind) pictures of me and post them all over the web to my total humiliation and embarrassment?

They are short lived blooms. But once they get going you should have them in waves. But you are right about the white ones. They reseed like mad. But you do have to thin them out or they get leggy.

Yeah, Melampodium. I bought some once, three or four years ago and I still have plenty of it.

I just haven't had a lot of time for house photos, plus things are in the hurry up and wait stage. Seems like things have come to a crawl. But I should have some fresh ones soon.

And I'm working on making that Saturday available.....
