Help with my new hydrangea bushes

When i was a little girl many moons ago in England we had a huge hydrangea bush. It was beautiful and flowered every year. My mothers pride and joy. So this year I decided to try myluck to grown one. I have planted 3/4 bushes and have been tending them ever since. Getting wonderful adicefrom people on here. Well today I took a look at them. And to my absolute horror oneof them has little holes in them.
What can I do please ?
