Night pics are never used enough. They're as good or better than day shots. Everyone needs a retreat or a place for solice. You've created one, and much cheaper than a holiday! Nice thing is you can add to, or change it at will and it's there every year. Very nice pittsburghpalmguy z6b!

Absolutely wonderful! I have a very similar tropical oasis in my yard, and yes, it is only a matter of time before the dismantling must take place...sad is it not?

I have majesty palms, Chinese fan palms, a windmill palm, along with hardy bamboo, hibiscus and citrus. there's cannas everywhere, along with different ficus, papyrus, giant grasses, abutilons, Dawn Redwood, ornamental sweet potato vines, sugar cane, etc. I eat all my meals out there, and love sitting out at night with the glow of the garden lights. Good fun!

I dug up this pic from 2 years ago of my lanai area. I have more plant material now and the others have filled in much more. It's a great place to relax and entertain.
