It's a common practice Mike and easy to do if you have the freezer space. Just wash, core, toss in a freezer bag and freeze. Peels slip right off when they thaw.

I sun dried a lot of Sun Gold and Super Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes last summer. Just wash them, slice them in half, and lay them on a sheet of aluminum foil out in the sun. They taste like candy, in fact I had some today. I ordered seeds for Juane Flemme which is supposed to be good for drying.
