... a/k/a bottom heat.
Question: Do you turn off your heating pad once you've achieved germination? I usually keep mine on the whole time the plants are indoors, mostly because our house gets down to the high 50's - low 60's at night and while we're at work during the day. My plants are always healthy and grow reasonably well (could be bigger), but I'm wondering whether they would do better with the bottom heat off. Kind of a spin on the cold hands, warm heart expression -- cold roots, warm (from the fluorescent lights) head.
Am I trying to fix someting that ain't broke? What do you all do?
