What's happening? Not much

I sent a message to "contact us" but so far this is no better. They seem to have a bagful of unresolved problems.Today the whole website is as slow as molasses running uphill. It really is discouraging,but it seems that the first thing "they" want to fix is how to make money. Too bad they are ruining what was a good thing. A lot of familiar names have disappeared.

Garden Web used to be the best place on the web for gardening advice, etc. but not anymore. Almost all the old timers from the Hummingbird Garden Forum have flown the coop. One member started his own forum and every went over there. Someone from here will probably end up doing the same thing because people come here to learn and interact and if they can't get what they want or need they will go somewhere else and then Garden Web won't make any money.

Yeah, I don't the forums on this site as much anymore. Instead, I hang out over at the OTHER gardening site. Before the takeover, I always liked gardenweb more because it had more useful information and fewer "cute" posts. Now it just has fewer posts period.
