Weather in general and humidity especially play a large role in blossom drop so your 4 days of rain and 20 mph winds could easily be the primary cause.

So does overall health and age and DTM of the variety. You may just need patience. ;) Is your SWC covered with the plastic to keep all the band of fert washing down into the roots from all the rain?

Yes, I have used a plastic mulch to cover the soil. Funny thing is this is my first attempt to grow true heirlooms and its only the heirlooms im having trouble with. I have grown hybrids for years, thinking that heirlooms are less disease resistant, more picky, and harder to grow. But lately since I have read more and more articles that hierlooms are not that hard to grow and hybrids are not that much more disease resistant, I decided to give them a try, picking 2 that supposedly have decent disease resistance and easy to grow with good weather tolerances. Thing is my 2 hybrid tomato plants are doing just fine, with very little blossom drop and my 2 heirlooms are droping everything. Same soil mix, same fert, same amounts, same weather, same location in yard, same everything. Even my peppers are doing great. What gives?

BD isn't a hybrid vs. heirloom issue. It can sometimes be a variety issue. Some varieties with later DTMs are sometimes more prone to early season blossom drop.

But IMO 90% of the time it is an environmental issue and unfortunately in SE Florida growers there tend to list LOTS of environmental issues that many of us rarely have to contend with. But you have some great advantages too and BD does stop as the plant adjusts to its environment so be patient.
