Your best hummingbird plants

I was curious what some of Upstate NY's favorite hummingbird plants are. My favorite Perennials are Monarda Jacob Cline, Penstemon gloxinoides, Agastache, Lobelia cardinalis, coneflower and Hosta. My favorite annuals are Salvia, coccinea(esp. lady in red), S. black and blue, Cuphea, david verity and micropetala, ipomoea multifida, mexican sunflower, and zinnia. Shrubs/vines are Lonicera sempervirens, Rose of Sharon, Weigela and Butterfly bush. Those are my go to plants. What are yours?

My hummers seem to mostly go for my impatiens, lantana, honeysuckle vine, hosta, lilies, and solomon's seal.... I grow some of the other plants you've mentioned but I've never seen my hummers feeding on them. As my neighbor says, though, I have a "target rich environment". :)

I've seen more than a few go after a Rose of Sharon. Columbines will draw them pretty well. Impatiens are always a favorite and one year I grew some Four O'Clocks that they went absolutely nuts over.
