What to pay young yard cleanup helper

20 years ago

I'm going to ask if a friend's son, about 13, would be interested in helping me do yard cleanup and clear some tall dead weeds from a stream bed. We will stack the weeds to burn. Nothing really weight or strength intensive.

I don't have a clue what to offer to pay him. Any suggestions?
