Previous discussions include ProMix, MG of various types, Mel's Mix, Metro Mix, and several other brands. All depends on what you have available as long as it is a soil-less mix.

If you use Miracle Gro, use the regular potting mix. If you want to do it organically, don't use the MG Organic Choice mix as I have had terrible results with it. Works fine for some people though. I had my seedlings potted in a 5:4 ratio of regular to organic mix, and they suffered serious nutrient deficiency which was completely fixed after I re-potted them into 100% regular mix.

Just my input on Miracle Gro if that's what you choose. I haven't used their other mixes such as the moisture control, etc.
