I stopped in a day or two befor the story ran in the paper. I see spme improvements to the main building, I think they may not carry as much variety but as you say "it still has lots of good stuff". Boo- do you ever get over to Georges in Clinton/Kirkland - That's my favorite. Kim

I've heard great things about Georges, but still have no idea how to find it! Do they have a large variety of plants? heucheras, hostas, other shade plants??? Those plants aren't easy to find locally... especially the varieties that I have wanted. Mail-order isn't as fun when you can't see the plants in person! :(

My Mom's in Utica. I go back to do her flower beds in the spring. Cabellas (also on River Road, maybe 1/4 mile away from River Road Greenhouses) is another good place to go, although I haven't been there this weekend. I've never been to Georges. I'll have to check it out.

George's does have shade plants. I saw Heucheras there about a week ago. Lots of trees and shrubs, roses, clematis, many perennnials and annuals. I love Georges!

I like George's too. I haven't been to Line's Acres since they were sold. I saw the story in the paper too, and was wondering what the place would be like under the new management. I'll just have to take a trip there this weekend and check them out!
